One of the things I will be trying to do with this blog is keep readers updated with such visits by international crime and thriller writing heavyweights. Although New Zealand is a long way from many of the major markets, a pleasantly surprising amount of great authors do choose to visit - although sometimes such visits aren't necessarily publicised widely. In the past few weeks alone, we have had top internationals like Linwood Barclay (NO TIME FOR GOODBYE, FEAR THE WORST), Scott Frost (NEVER FEAR, POINT OF NO RETURN), Stuart MacBride (DS Logan McRae series) and Michael Stanley (Detective Kubu books) visit our shores.
Keep visiting this blog, and I'll try to keep everyone updated on such visits - that sometimes fall through the mainstream media cracks.
Great job, Craig. Blog looks great - and it's great somebody is keeping us updated on when these great authors are showing up... You're gonna be a real advocate for crime fiction in this country.
