Adrian McKinty's interview on Radio New Zealand

Further to my post from Monday, Adrian McKinty gave a cool interview on Radio New Zealand last night (Bryan Crump's "Nights" programme). Unlike a lot of radio interviews - this was actually fairly substantial too (21mins in length).

You can access the audio file here: http://www.radionz.co.nz/search?mode=results&queries_all_query=mckinty

I haven't listened to the entire interview yet, but there is some cool stuff in there, about his writing, thoughts on Cuba, travel stories (like playing 'pick-up' rugby again army soldiers) etc. What do you guys think?

FIFTY GRAND is right near the top of my 50-book TBR pile, and I am really looking forward to it, especially after having spent some time in Cuba last year, during our world travels.

And now that he just lives 'across the ditch', hopefully McKinty will come and visit us in New Zealand sometime soon as well.

  1. What's the matter with you? Listen to the whole thing! The bit you missed could have been me making sheep shagger jokes about the Aussies. You never know.

  2. Haha - just hadn't listened to it all before I made the post. Good interview by the way - lots of really cool stuff.

Now, just get your arse over here for an author event, and you can berate me in person...
