Competition Update: A few more days to enter to win a Kiwi crime novel

Thanks to everyone who has entered the first Crime Watch Giveaway - it's been a fantastic response thusfar, with almost 20 entries from a wide variety of countries, including Australia, UK, USA, Ireland, Russia, Denmark, Italy, and South Africa. It's great to see some crime fiction fans around the world wanting to give (more) Kiwi crime or thriller fiction a go!

The competition will close on Tues night (meaning it will have run for a week), and then 3 winners will be drawn randomly (I may even get someone unrelated to 'draw them out of a hat' for me, to keep it all above board). The winners will be announced in a post on this blog on Wed am NZT. Thanks to the great response to this competition, I will look to run some further competitions in future. So if you miss out this time, still keep checking back regularly into "Crime Watch" - and hey, go out there and pick yourself up some NZ crime/thriller fiction and give it a go anyway. I can help with sourcing it, if you need.

Vanda Symon has kindly offered to sign any copies of her books, if they are chosen by any of the winners (I see a few of you have asked for her debut OVERKILL if you win). Hopefully I might be able to get some of the other Kiwi crime writers to sign theirs too, if their books are chosen by any of the winners.

For those who haven't entered yet, you still have a few days - entries can be made (and terms and conditions can be found) at: http://kiwicrime.blogspot.com/2009/09/crime-watch-giveaway-win-new-zealand.html
