UPDATE: ALL THE COLOURS OF THE TOWN book launch shifts time and place

An update to my post of 27 August - I have just been informed by a publicist at Allen & Unwin that the Liam McIlvanney event (launch of his debut thriller ALL THE COLOURS OF THE TOWN) will no longer be held at the University Book Shop in Dunedin on 22 September 2009.

Instead the event will be held on 29 September 2009 at a venue TBA. I will keep you up to date with any further announcements. I know the change will please at least one Dunedin-based crime fiction afficianado, who couldn't make the initially scheduled event.

McIlvanney is the University of Otago Stuart Professor of Scottish Studies, having recently immigrated to New Zealand. He returns to his roots with his debut, ALL THE COLOURS OF THE TOWN, described as "a compelling thriller set amid the murky politics of Scotland and Northern Ireland".
