Look what's at the end of the rainbow...
I was driving through my old childhood town of Richmond, Nelson last week, and after three cloudless sunny days, a random thunderstorm ripped through the vicinity, before the sun peaked out again quickly. I'm always impressed by the beauty and power of Mother Nature, and the random little things she can throw up there for us, such as this double rainbow (the second one is faint, just to the right of the main one), that seems to appropriately point to a true 'pot of gold' at the end of the rainbow...
Thought all of you, my bookloving friends, might enjoy this, and it was worth sharing. That place was certainly a 'pot of gold' for me growing up...

Craig - Oh, this is fantastic! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteWhat an awesome photo!!!
ReplyDeleteI was wondering if you would give me permission to use this photo on the Facebook page for my workplace, Hamilton City Libraries? I would use the following caption to accompany it:
"Confirming something we've know for a long time...the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow is actually a library!
This one is Richmond Library in the Tasman District, as taken by Crime Watch blogger Craig Sisterson."
Cheers,
Kelly
Sure Kelly, I'm happy for you to do that.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Craig :)
