Who killed Rose? New local crime drama to hit TV screens
This month, a new local crime drama, The Blue Rose, debuts on New Zealand television. I am pretty excited to see this, as it's from the creators of Outrageous Fortune - arguably the best New Zealand TV show in recent memory - and looks quite interesting. A group of 'temp' workers band together to try to work out who killed Rose, a friend of theirs, whose death in the Auckland harbour is officially called an accident.
You can watch the trailer for the series above.
Created by James Griffin and Rachel Lang, at first glance The Blue Rose looks like it has the terrific mix of drama, humour, quirkiness, and intriguing characters that they are well-known for. I am certainly going to be watching. You can read more about the series, which stars Antonia Prebble and Siobhan Marshall, here.
Incidentally, watching the trailer above, that bridge at the start glowing blue in the night is within sight of my apartment - so it will be cool to see how they use the local settings (the show was also shooting on my workplace's street late in the downtown CBD last year).

I had a hard time viewing the trailer but your description alone tells me this should be an interesting series.
