Terrific event tomorrow: Murder Most Foul

I'm very jealous of those living in the South of New Zealand right now, as booklovers there can attend the Dunedin Writers & Readers Festival this weekend, including a terrific crime writing event at 4pm tomorrow afternoon.

"Murder Most Foul" features 2014 Ngaio Marsh Award winner Liam McIlvanney, former finalist and 2015 longlistee Paddy Richardson, and three-time finalist Vanda Symon, along with the hidden gem of New Zealand-based crime writers: Rogelio Guedea. Rogelio is a bestselling crime writer in his home country of Mexico, but lives in Dunedin and works at the University of Otago (along with McIlvanney).

Dunedin was recently named a City of Literature, and it's certainly easy to see why with such a terrific array of writers like this, and organisers such as those behind the Dunedin Writers & Readers Festival who help promote and celebrate books and writing. If you're in the area, make sure you head along.
