Video review of CROSS FINGERS
Yesterday, for a bit of throwback Thursday, we travelled back in time to take a deeper look at 2015 Ngaio Marsh Award finalist Paul Cleave's internationally bestselling debut thriller THE CLEANER.
Today, we're looking at another of the Ngaio finalists earlier work; this time it's Paddy Richardson's excellent thriller CROSS FINGERS, which combined contemporary crime with the historic events of the controversial 1981 Springbok Tour of New Zealand, which was an event that still echoes in our small rugby-mad country.
I've included a video review of the book, by Joan McKenzie, above.
Like Joan, I highly recommend CROSS FINGERS as a terrific psychological thriller.
