Kiwi crime: PERIL AND PARADISE

The New Zealand crime, mystery, thriller, and suspense ranks keep growing, as more and more talented New Zealand authors, established and new, choose to set stories in these most exciting of genres.

Patricia Berwick has previously written two historical books in 2010 and 2012, looking at life in 1800s New Zealand, linked in with an infamous siege at Parihaka. Her latest book, released this year, delves more deeply into contemporary mystery, thrills, and suspense. Here's a blurb for PERIL AND PARADISE:

"Peril in Paradise a mystery adventure story about a graduate student who decides to do her research in a remote island group in the Pacific. She is invited there by a fellow student who appears to have all the right connections to make her stay there an informative one. Very shortly she finds herself immersed in intrigue and legend which could be life-threatening to both herself and others. She decides she has to uncover whatever is happening in order to complete her research and return safely to her home in the United States."

The book is available from Amazon in paperback and Kindle format.
