SNEAK PEEK: some of the 2015 Ngaio Marsh Award longlist
The longlist for the Ngaio Marsh Award will be officially announced later this month, but today I can share with you all a sneak peek at six novels that have made the longlist (which will be eight to ten novels in total).
It's going to be another tough year for the judging panel, with the diversity of crime and mystery writing styles, settings, and storylines on show amongst these books (and the wider longlist). From homosexuality trials in Victorian London to the trials of personal relationships in rural New Zealand, FBI investigators to laconic bootleggers on the mean streets of Depression-era cities, there's quite a range here.
You can follow what is going on with the Ngaio Marsh Award at its Facebook page here.
