As I've mentioned earlier, British born, New Zealand-based crime writer and TV scriptwriter Neil Cross will be making his third and final appearance today at the New Zealand Post Writers and Readers Week, which is part of the 2010 New Zealand International Arts Festival.
Earlier in the week Cross, who is noted for his dark novels (Booker longlisted ALWAYS THE SUN, BURIAL, CAPTURED etc) and his acclaimed TV screenwriting (Spooks, the upcoming Luther), participated in Monday's Once Upon a Deadline - event, and the Wgtn Festival Gala Opening - where, as was noted by several attendees, he was the star of the show.
This afternoon at 2pm Cross will be in conversation with Noel Murphy, discussing Cross's work. It should be a fascinating event, and I recommend anyone who is in the Wellington area, to head along. See Writers Upfront - 2:00pm - for more information.
